Structural Principle Of Electrofusion Fittings

May 04, 2026

PPR electrofusion fittings mainly consist of three parts: an outer PPR pipe body, a middle heating wire, and an inner hot melt adhesive layer.

When the electrofusion welding machine is powered on, the heating wire generates high temperatures, melting the hot melt adhesive on the inner wall of the fitting and fusing it with the connected PPR pipe. This connection method avoids the leakage risks of traditional glue connections and is more suitable for complex piping systems than hot melt connections.
