Core advantages of electrofusion fittings

Apr 05, 2026

1. High Connection Strength and Excellent Sealing

Electrofusion welding allows the fitting and pipe to fuse at the molecular level, resulting in a joint strength close to that of the pipe itself, making it less prone to cracking over long-term use. Actual tests show that this connection method can withstand pressures exceeding 1.6 MPa, superior to ordinary glue connections.

2. Convenient Operation, Suitable for Complex Scenarios

No complex heat fusion equipment is required; simply insert the electrofusion fitting into the pipe and apply power. It is particularly suitable for use in confined spaces and irregularly shaped pipes (such as bends and branches), requiring less technical expertise from installers compared to heat fusion welding.

3. Temperature and Pressure Resistance, Long Service Life

PPR material itself has excellent heat resistance (working temperature up to 70℃) and aging resistance. Combined with the electrofusion process, the overall service life can reach over 50 years. In experimental environments, after 100,000 temperature cycle tests, the joint still maintains excellent sealing performance.

4. Environmentally Friendly and Odorless, Meets Industry Standards

Uses food-grade PPR raw materials, free of heavy metals and harmful additives. There are no volatile organic compound emissions during the production process, and the pipeline system can be directly used for drinking water transportation after installation, ensuring safety.
